Danielle has a very strong and confident personality. She enjoys interacting with people and being active. She is a runner, also does Latin American dancing and plays the violin. She has a passion for the youth and helping people less fortunate. Danielle is very excited and ready for the challenge that Bokamoso Ba Rona (Our Future)  has set before her!

Devon Brits

Devon believes that he is a hard worker, fun-loving, shy but courageous, willing to participate, determined, honest, gentle but firm, compassionate, a lover and open minded. He loves life and rugby, nature plays a big part in his life. He is passionate about social problem solving and community growth and development so that our future (youth) may be a fruitful and constructive one. He believes life is worth living and also to make a real impact on others’ lives. He believes that even though there are obstacles, they are worth overcoming, because through every experience we learn a new thing about ourselves.

Christine Grobler

Christine, is 16 and is in Grade 11. She enjoys leadership, learning and presenting. She is passionate about solving problems, teaching her peers and motivating people. She has a lot of energy and is very proactive. Her personality traits include articulation, confidence, tactfulness and convincing others. She would like to represent her generation as this is the talent that she has been given. Her main goal now is to encourage young people to be brave enough to share their experiences.

Thapelo 20 year old who lives in Sebokeng. He wants to study Media and likes playing soccer and basketball. He likes basketball the most because he gets to use his advantage that he is tall. Thapelo does not like being teased.

Mpho Tsimane

Mpho is a  21 year old who lives in Gauteng. She is the kind of person who loves people and enjoys being around them. She has a twin sister, by the name of Mphonyana. Mpho loves listening to music and enjoys R&B and House Music. In her spare time, she loves reading, writing and volunteering for the community. She does not like people who take others for granted and criticise. She enjoys mingling with other people in the goal to learn more about their cultures, etc. that’s Mpho and she loves being herself. Tebogo Moalusi

Tebogo is a young budding entrepreneur. He is currently employed at Investec Bank in JHB as a Consultant. He is also an entrepreneur, running and actively participating in youth and development, entertainment and lifestyle, logistics and mentorship. His vision is to create solutions for various stakeholders, ensuring that through entrepreneurship he creates employment and looks at “more than just the bottom line”. He regards himself as a social entrepreneur who has the talent and opportunity to create wealth for himself and his community. Tebogo is proudly South African. He says “Our country has great prospects, but we have to realise our treasure. Talk has become cheap in South Africa. Action is our priority.” Tebogo is very passionate about the youth. They are the future and he is part of it. He is a youth leader.

Mmaselo is currently part of a community project which helps needy people in the community. The organization  mostly helps people who are in need of food, by helping find donations for them and supply them with food and clothing.

Muhammed is a senior member of the Lenasia Muslim School Debate Forum (LMSDF) 2008- to date, he was also a participant in the WITS Model UN Debates (WITSMUN)  – 2008/2009 and represented the  school to the Youth Forum Gauteng. (served informally during 2008, and formally  to date).

Karabo Yasmeen Klaas

Karabo plays netball at school and swims during the summer months. She enjoys arts and crafts and also takes part in the drama class. Her two favourite sports are netball and tennis. She likes surfing the internet for new games, and especially enjoys hairdressing games and star doll. Her biggest achievement for her was being Head Monitor, which comes with a lot of responsibility. She also received a medal for Judo, which she is very proud of.
